Pat Holland

Pat Holland joined SEMRA in 1990 and since then has served as team chair and team leader as well as chair of Mountain Rescue Ireland. He led the MRI leadership training course for a number of years and is currently SARCALL development officer for MRI.

He has published a sizable number of articles and two books on historical topics, the latest being a history of MR in Ireland. Having worked as an archaeologist and museum curator, his current ‘real job’ is as a change manager in the public service. He spends time every year walking on a Camino with Ellen, his wife.
