A serving Police Sergeant with West Yorkshire Police, seconded as a trainer to the Police National Search Centre at the College of Policing since June 2015. The PNSC is internationally recognised as a world leader in the development/training of Counter-Terrorism, Serious Crime and High Risk Missing Person search techniques.

29 years policing experience of which I have been a licensed Police Search Adviser (PolSA) since September 2003. Amongst my core responsibilities within our search team, I also hold the portfolio for missing persons search tactics and training.

My experience within search is wide and varied, from protecting some of our most prominent past and present ‘high profile’ individuals and events, to search management of crime scenes of all types whilst also supporting missing people enquiries. This particular area of my expertise has taken me both overseas, as well as travelling the length and breadth of the UK.
