Carnegie Great Outdoors, part of Leeds Beckett University, provides innovative learning experiences that combine adventure and education in a positive and creative environment. We offer an extensive range of outdoor, adventurous activities for groups and individuals of all ages and abilities. We deliver events for schools, colleges, universities youth groups and corporate clients, and our highly qualified staff have extensive knowledge and expertise in the outdoors with many having led major expeditions around the world and summited the world’s highest mountains. We are delighted to be working with Mountain Rescue England & Wales to host and deliver the 2019 conference.
Leeds Beckett University’s Headingley Campus is set in 100 acres of parkland with easy access to Leeds city centre, our campus has a rich history having played host to visitors such as Winston Churchill and Oscar Wilde. The Headingley Campus is less than three miles from Leeds City Centre. The conference will be hosted in the James Graham building which takes pride of place at the centre of the campus, this Grade II listed building presides over three acres of parkland and is perfect for everything from board meetings to large residential conferences. Our spacious and airy rooms make full use of natural light and are served by state-of-the-art technologies from free, superfast Wi-Fi to a full range of AV facilities.
